The Truth About Selling By Owner!

Sellers sell their home to save the commissions. Buyers by "By Owners" to save the commissions. Bottom line, who is paying for the commissions? The answer, it depends on who you ask.

When we speak with a seller they feel they pay the commissions because the commissions come from their proceeds at settlement or closing. When we speak to the buyers they feel they pay for the commssions because the buyer is the one bringing the funds to the settlement or closing. From the buyers perspective the seller is simply disbursting the buyers funds. So who is really paying for the commissions?

Sellers make the mistake of using comparitable sales within the area that involved a Realtor. Buyers have the same access to those compaitable sales as the seller and most buyers are not going to hand over the commissions for the seller to pocket. Many homeowners believe that to maximize their profit on a home sale they should sell it themselves. They feel selling a home is placing an advertisement in the local newspaper, placing a sign in the fromnt yard and holding an open house. Finding a buyer for the home is a relatively simple process. The real work begins when you have successfully found your buyer.

Confident, determeined people sell thier home "By Owner." Confident, determined people buy "By Owners." Can you see the conflict in selling "By Owner?" Closings that do not involve a mediator or third party are more likely to fall apart or worse yet end up in a dispute. Selling "By Owner" can be confusing. To assist you in your marketing efforts we have instituted an innovative For Sale By Owner System designed to help people just like you in selling their home "By Owner." Why do we do this? By helping you increase the exposure that your home receives when you are attempting to sell, we win by receiving leads from the prospective buyers that preview your home. Due to the fact that you are selling your home For Sale By Owner, I’m sure you are being contacted by a great many people "interested" in your home. As you have probably found out, most are Real Estate agents who are interested in acquiring another listing. Our company has designed a "For Sale By Owner How To" booklet to address the issues involved in selling your home. The book is provided Free of Charge.

How can we do this? It’s easy! We supply you with marketing materials to aid in selling your home and we receive the leads of the prospective buyers that we can pre-qualify for your home and future mortgages. We look forward to answering any questions you may have regarding this system and getting your home sold ASAP!
